DAY 1: ARRIVE DELHI
Arrive Delhi International Airport, after meet and greet by local tour manager, transfer to hotel.

DAY 2: DELHI – SHIMLA
DELHI – KALKA BY TRAIN
KALKA – SHIMLA BY TOY TRAIN
In the morning, transfer to railway station for Kalka bound train and from Kalka to Shimla by Toy Train.

The entire journey (96 km) is laced with magnetic beauty. Rising from Kalka at 640 m, the rail track reaches Shimla which is at a height of 2060 m. The train twists its way uphill slowly to enable the passengers to enjoy the mesmerising beauty around.

DAY 3: IN SHIMLA
Whole day to explore Shimla leisurely. Shimla is the
capital of Himachal Pradesh, situated at a height of 2,100 mts.Visit Kufri, Narkanda and Mall Road. Relics of styles of building long forgotten in Britain are still evident here

DAY 4: SHIMLA- MANALI DRIVE 270 KM
Morning after breakfast depart and drive to Manali – Located in the heart of KulluValley in the Himachal Pradesh. Manali is one of the most beautiful hill stations of the country. On arrival transfer to hotel. In the evening shop at the local market, The Mall Road.

DAY 5: IN MANALI
After breakfast, excursion to Rohatang Pass which is situated at an altitude of 3979 mtrs above sea level and is the gateway to Lahaul-Spiti valley. It affords a wide panoramic view of the mountains. After lunch explore Manali. Visit 450 years old temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi, Tibetan Monastery and a handicraft center. Rest of the day at leisure or you can enjoy a walk to nearby picturesque village of Vashisht known for hot sulphur springs.

DAY 6: MANALI – DHARAMSALA DRIVE(240 KM)
Morning after breakfast depart and drive to Dharamsala, the old British hill station. On arrival an orientation walk will be organized which will include the Church of St. John in the Wilderness, the Buddhist Namgyal Monastery known locally as Little Lhasa, and the Kalachakra Temple.

DAY 7: IN DHARAMSALA
Morning spent inMcLeodganj. If the Dalai Lama is giving one of his occasional public speech, we may be lucky enough to be granted permission to attend. The afternoon is left free for further personal exploration in the town. Alternatively can walk out to one of the temples in the surrounding hills, the closest being the Bhagsunath Temple with its small pool, attractive waterfall and spectacular views.

DAY 8: DHARAMSALA – DALHOUSIE DRIVE (140KM)
Morning after breakfast depart and drive to Dalhousie. On arrival transfer to hotel. In the evening visitShubhash Chowk, Gandhi Chowk, PunjPullaand shopping at Mall Road.

DAY 9: DALHOUSIE – CHAMBA – KHAJJIAR – DALHOUSIE
Morning after breakfast drive to Chamba. Visit the Lakshmi Narayan Group of Temples, Hari Rai Temple, Rang Mahal and Bhuri Singh Museum. Thereafter drive to Khajjiar. Khajjiar is a saucer shaped glade that has a circumference of about five kilometers. There is a small lake fed by the brooks that traverse the glade’s green carpet. Khajjiar is often called “Mini Switzerland”. Evening back to Dalhousie.

DAY 10: DALHOUSIE – AMRITSAR (230KM)
Morning after breakfast drive to Amritsar. On arrival transfer to hotel.Later in the afternoon, visit Wagah border and witness the retreat ceremony in the evening.

DAY 11: AMRITSAR – DELHI BY TRAIN
Morning after breakfast visit Jallian Wala Baghwhich is noted for its most notorious massacre under British rule wherein General Dyer personally led the troops to the sight and ordered his men to open fire without any warning. Today this ground has been changed to a park and it has a pleasant garden.Then visit Golden Temple. The architecture of the golden temple is a blend of the Hindu and Muslim styles. As the sun shifts, the temple presents myriad views, each magnificent and captivating. The Golden Dome (said to be glided with 100 kg of pure gold) is supposed to represent an inverted lotus flower, pointing back to earth to symbolize the Sikh´s concern with the problems of this world. In evening transfer to Railway station for Delhi bound train. On arrival transfer to hotel.

DAY 12: DEPARTURE
Transfer to international airport for onward flight.
