DAY 1: ARRIVE DELHI
Arrive Delhi International Airport, after meet and greet by local tour manager, transfer to hotel.
Overnight: hotel in Delhi.
DAY 2: DELHI – AMRITSAR BY TRAIN
In the morning, transfer to Railway Station for Amritsar bound train (breakfast served in Train). Arrive Amritsar and transfer to hotel. After wash and change in the evening visits Wagha Border. Return to hotel for Dinner. After dinner visit Golden Temple. The architecture of the golden temple is a blend of the Hindu and Muslim styles. As the sun shifts, the temple presents myriad views, each magnificent and captivating. The Golden Dome (said to be glided with 100 kg of pure gold) is supposed to represent an inverted lotus flower, pointing back to earth to symbolize the Sikh´s concern with the problems of this world.

DAY 3: AMRITSAR – SRINAGAR FLY
Morning after breakfast visit Golden Temple andJallian Wala Baghwhich is noted for its most notorious massacre under British rule wherein General Dyer personally led the troops to the sight and ordered his men to open fire without any warning. Today this ground has been changed to a park and it has a pleasant garden.After visit transfer to Airport for Srinagar bound flight. On arrival meet and greet at the Srinagar airport and transfer to Houseboat. In the afternoon experience ashikara ride over Dal Lake.

DAY 4: IN SRINAGAR
After leisurely breakfast leave for city tour. Visit Mughal Garden that includes Nishat, ChashmaShahi and Shalimar Gardens, Hari Parbat fort, Jamia Masjid and various shrines. In the afternoon, visit ShankaraChariya temple.
Overnight:in houseboat.
DAY 5: SRINAGAR – KARGIL DRIVE (204 KM)
Early morning leave for Kargil via Sonamarg where we walk around and explore the area. Early afternoon continue towards Kargil. Arrive Drass(the second coldest inhabitant place in the world) for lunch. After lunch drive to Kargil. Arrive and check in at hotel.
Note: For construction and road repair, sometime Zojila remains closed for one day during every week and up to last year it used to be closed on Sunday’s. The day is decided year to year. Keep flexibility of one day.

DAY 6: KARGIL – ALCHI Drive (170 KM)
On leaving the Kargil town, the road plunges into the ridges and valleys of the Zanskar Range, over a huge mound of alluvium known as Khurbathang plateau, now made fertile by a huge irrigation system. Form here it descends to the Pashkyum area and passes through several roadside villages before entering Mulbek, with its gigantic rock carving of Maitreya Buddha and a gompa perched high on a crag above the village. Continuing our journey, we pass throughWakha village and ascend the Namika-la (12,200 ft/3,719 m) pass. From here we descend in to Khangral, a Muslim dominated village and Bodhkharbu, a Buddhist populated village with an army camp. Journey continued few kilometers along the left bank of river Sangeluma Chu (descending from Fotu-la), then we switch over to the right bank. Then a long ascend to Fotu-la pass (13,432 ft/4,094 m) leads to the monastery of Lamayuru. The monastery of Lamayuru and the amazing wind-eroded towers and pinnacles of lunar-landscape rocks, down to the Indus at Khalse. Journey continued toAlchi village and monastery. After checking – in at our hotel we will stroll through the village and explore the Alchigompa.

DAY 7: ALCHI – LEH DRIVE (70 KM)
After breakfast leave for Leh. After a short drive, we arrive to Saspol village. From there we reach Likir village. The Likir is a major Gelugpa monastery, but its colossal open-air Maitreya sets it apart.Then we pass throughBasgo, Nimu village and Sangam (where Zanskar and Indus river meet)and visitSpitukMonastery. Arrive Leh. Check in at hotel.

DAY 8: LEH – PANGONG LAKE DRIVE (160 KM)
After an early breakfast depart and drive to Pangong Lake. En route visitShey and Thiksy. Shey is the former palace of upper Ladakh before Leh was established. Thiksy is one of the most imposing monasteries in the Indus valley. Drive continues to the Pangong at the height of 4550m. The road winds over 17350 ft high Changla Pass, where the weather could turn hostile any time of hot summer. The water of the Lake changes its hue and colour often. This lakes only about 40% is in India, other part in Tibet (China).

DAY 9: PANGONG LAKE – LEH DRIVE (160 KM)
In the morning explore Pangong Lake and drive back to Leh. On the way visit Hemiswhich is a magnificent monastery, lying in a small isolated valley south of the Indus.

DAY 10: LEH – TSOMORIRI DRIVE (223 KM)
Leave after an early breakfast for Tsomorari. En-route visit Chumathangsulphur hot springs. Then gradually ascend through narrow Puga valley up to a small pass (Namshangla). From here continue for a short distance to TsoMorari for overnight camp.

DAY 11: TSOMORARI – TSOKAR – LEH DRIVE (235 KM)
Most of the morning will be spent in exploring the Tsomoriri Lake (proximately 20 Km long) and Korzok Monastery. After an early lunch drive down to Puga village (Sumdo) up to a small pass called Polo Kongkila. From the pass descent into SamadKharnak (TsoKar) and drive continue to Leh. From here ascend to Taglangla pass (17582 ft.), and descend down to Leh via Rumtse and Upshi. Arrive and check in at hotel.

DAY 12: LEH-DISKET-SUMUR (NUBRA VALLEY) (DRIVE200 KM)
After an early breakfast leave for Nubra valley. From Leh the route ascends gradually through various picturesque villages to one of the highest motor able passes, the Khardungla (5606 mts). Up and down this pass, we see fantastic panoramic view of StokhKangri and other surrounding peaks. On the way down into Nubra valley, the first village we pass through is Khardang, further down, we come to Khalsar, little further we reach to confluence of Shayok and Nubra rivers. From there we continue along the river Shayok till Disket, the sub divisional head quarter. A short drive from Disket will bring us to Hunder, the last point one is allowed to go up to on this route. After visiting the village of Hunder, we return to Disket, en-route stopping at sand dunes to enjoy a brief camel ride (Optional) (double hump camels). In Disket, we will explore the monastery and walk around the market. Later in the evening, we will return to Khalsar, drive a short distance along the river Nubra to our camp at Sumur.

DAY 13: IN SUMUR
After breakfast we visit Ensa Monastery(250 years old) and Hot springs. Return to camp for lunch. In the afternoon walk to Samthaling, largest monastery of Panamik, home to over 100 lamas, established in 1841. Rest of the day for walk around this beautiful valley.

DAY 14: SUMUR – LEH DRIVE (160 KM)
After breakfast return to Leh via Khardungla pass, (5359 m.). En route visit Leh Palace.Leh Palace is a 9 storey palace was built in 17th century for King SinggeNamgyal. Today this palace is a branch of Indian Government’s archaeological conservation organization. There is a Victory Tower above the palace, at the top of the Namgyal hill. Then visit NamgyalTsemoGompa (Monastery) above the Leh Palace, built in 1430 which is open only during the morning puja. An amazing statue in gold of the Maitreya Buddha as high as three stories together with many idols and Buddhist scriptures is seen here. Near the monastery is an old fort, which, because of neglect, lies mostly in ruins now.
Arrive at Leh and check in at hotel for overnight. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 15: LEH – DELHI FLY
In the morning transfer to airport for Delhi bound flight. On arrival transfer to hotel. Later depart for half day city tour of old Delhi. Begin with a visit to Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the nation was cremated in 1948. Thereafter proceed to the magnificent Red Fort (closed on Mondays) built of red sandstone, dating from the very peak of the Mughal power. Then, Rickshaw Ride through Chandni Chowk. After that, visit to black and white onion domes and minarets of the Jama Masjid, the most elegant mosque in India. After Lunch, drive past RashtrapatiBhavan (the Presidential Palace) and the Secretariat buildings – the centre of Government activity, down to the impressive Rajpath (the main avenue), to the World War I memorial arch, India Gate, the High Court Building and the Old Fort.

DAY 16: DEPARTURE
Transfer to international airport for onward flight.
