DAY 1: ARRIVE CHENNAI
Arrive Chennai, meet and greet at the airport and transfer to hotel.

DAY 2: CHENNAI-MAHABALIPURAM DRIVE (60KM)
Morning after breakfast, proceed for half day city tour of Chennai. Visit St. George Fort, Santhome Cathedral, the Kapaleshwar Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, Fort Museum, National Art Gallery and Marina Beach.After lunch, drive to small seaside town of Mahabalipuram. Along its shore lies a stunning series of temples and sculptures.In the afternoon, visit the Shore temple and rock cut caves.

DAY 3: MAHABALIPURAM-PONDICHERRY DRIVE (120KM)
Morning after breakfast drive to Pondicherry, former French Colony. En-routeVisit Auroville where a unique community lives whose principles are based on universal harmony. Arrive Pondicherry.In the evening take a stroll through the French boulevard and the white town.

DAY 4: PONDICHERRY-TANJORE DRIVE (110KM)
After Breakfast drive to Tanjore, en-route visit templesofChidambaram and GangaikondaCholapuram (famous Shiva temple). Arrive and check in at the hotel. In the evening, visit Brahadeeswara Temple –dedicated to Lord Siva in the form of Linga&The Palace Museum.

DAY 5: TANJORE-MADURAI DRIVE (195KM)
After breakfast drive to Madurai,en- route visit Trichy situated on the banksof the Kaveri River and the Srirangam temple. After Lunch drive continued to Madurai which is the second largest city of Tamil Nadu. Also known as ancient seat of learning, the city is planned in the shape of a lotus. Later in the evening enjoy a TukTuk ride and witness the night ceremony at the Madurai Meenakshi temple.

DAY 6: MADURAI-PERIYAR (THEKKADY) DRIVE (140KM)
After breakfast, visitThirumalaiNayakpalace , Gandhi Museum and drive continue to Periyar (Thekkady). Arrive Periyar. In the evening visit The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, which gives a unique experience of beholding wildlife at close quarters in natural habitat from the safety of a boat ride at lakePeriyar. Later in the afternoon a tour through the spice plantations. This trip covers spiceplantations such as cardamom, pepper, vanilla, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, Ayurvedic herbs etc.

DAY 7: PERIYAR (THEKKADY)-ALLEPPEY DRIVE (150KM)
After breakfast, drive to Alleppey. On arrival check into houseboat. Overnight Houseboat Cruise to Kumarakom. This cruise is designed to give one a fascinating insight into the life of Keralan Backwater Villages.

DAY 8: ALLEPPEY-KOCHI DRIVE (63KM)
After breakfast, Disembark from houseboat and drive to Kochi. On arrival transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, explore the sites of Cochin. Visit Asia’s best preserved Synagogue, the Dutch Palace and the oldest European Church in India the St. Francis Church where Vasco Da Gama was originally buried. Later, a leisurely walk through the Fort Cochin area which gives you a close look at the operation of the hugecantilevered Chinese fishing nets introduced by Chinese traders which is still used in Keralian backwaters as a traditional way of fishing.

DAY 9: KOCHI-MUNNAR DRIVE (145KM)
After breakfast drive to Munnar. Drive through the picturesque countryside of Munnar, surrounded by lush green tea estates. This picturesque hill station boosts of exotic flora and fauna. On arrival check into hotel. In afternoon, visit Eravikulam Park where now the largest known population of Tahrs (species of wild goat) exists. After that, visit Tea Museum followed by a tea plantation visit. The museum is set up at the Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea in Munnar. Visitors to themuseum can satiate their curiosity on various stages of tea processing, and also learn a thing or two about the production of black tea.

DAY 10: MUNNAR-COONOR DRIVE (260KM)
COONOR-OOTY BY TOY TRAIN (30KM JOY RIDE)
After breakfast drive to Coonor. Throughout the journey you can see panoramic western ghat hills covered with spice plantations. At Coonor Railway station we board a toy train for Ooty. Nilgiri Mountain Railway (NMR) is a treasured element and fabled charm of Nilgiris since 1899. This Nilgiri rail system is unique as it is the steepest one in Asia. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO during 2005. Arrive Ooty. On arrival transfer to hotel.

DAY 11: IN OOTY
After breakfast, full day exploration of different attractions in Ooty like Botanical Gardens, Lotus Pond, Doda Betta,Kodanad View Point and cascading waterfalls such as Kalhatti waterfalls, Catherine waterfalls, etc.

DAY 12: OOTY-MYSORE (160KM)
After breakfast drive to city of Mysore, famed for its silk, sandalwood and its Dasara festivities. On arrival transfer to hotel. Later, visit Maharajah’s Palace. It is an opulent mix of Hindu and British architecture. Also visit the Chamundi Hills, Sri Chamundeswari Temple and the giant representation of Shiva’s sacred bull, Nandi, which was carved from a single piece of rock in the 17th century.

DAY 13: MYSORE-HASSAN DRIVE (140KM)
Morning after breakfast drive to Hassan. In afternoon visit Belur&Halebid, a few kilometres from Hassan.Belur is the first site built by the Hoysala dynasty. At Halebid temple,Hoysaleshwara appears like a jewel in the quality of its sculptures. No detail is overlooked in this stunning overview of the great Hindu myths.

DAY 14: HASSAN – HOSPET DRIVE (345 KM)
Morning after breakfast drive to Hospet. It is the perfect base for visiting Hampi ruins. Arrive Hospet. On arrival, transfer to hotel.

DAY 15: HOSPET – HAMPI- HOSPET
Morning after breakfast visit Hampi which is a World Heritage Centre. It was the capital of one of India’s most formidable empires, the powerful Vijayanagara. The ruins spread over an area of more than 26 sq.kms. The best way to experience this World Heritage Site is to take a leisurely stroll through the eloquent ruins.

DAY 16: HOSPET-GOA DRIVE (300KM)
Morning after breakfast drive to Goa. On arrival transfer to hotel. Goa is a one-time Portuguese colony on the Arabian Sea.On arrival, transfer to hotel.

DAY 17: IN GOA

DAY 19: GOA-MUMBAI FLY – DEPARTURE
In the morning, after breakfast, transfer to airport for Mumbai bound flight. On arrival, explore Mumbai city, that includes, drive pass by Marine Drive, Dhobi Ghat, VT Station, ChowpattyandGateway of India andMani Bhawan. Mani Bhawan presently functions as a Gandhi memorial. It used to be the Mumbai residence of Mahatma Gandhi. Also visit Hanging Garden,Raja Bhai Clock TowerandParsee ‘Towers of Silence’ on Malabar Hill. In evening, transfer to international airport for onward journey.
