DAY 1: ARRIVE KOLKATA
Arrival Kolkata airport. Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to hotel.

DAY 2: IN KOLKATA
After breakfast visit St. Paul’s Cathedral which was consecrated in 1847. It is a tall white Gothic building with a stained glass window by Burne Jones.After that visit Missionary Centre of Mother Teresa, Goddess Kali Temple (Dakshineshwar Kali Temple), built in 1847, on the banks of the Hooghly, north of Kolkata. After lunch visit Victoria Memorial which is a massive domed building of white marble from Rajasthan. It was inaugurated in 1921 by the prince of Wales. Then visit Indian Museum, established on 2nd Feb 1814. The museum is particularly famous for its zoological and geological collections. Also visit Botanical Garden, the oldest in the country. The main attraction is the 250 year old banyan tree with nearly 2,000 aerial roots, making it the largest tree of its kind in the world.

DAY 3: KOLKATA – DIMAPUR FLY
DIMAPUR – KOHIMA DRIVE
After breakfast transfer to airport for Dimapur bound flight. Arrive Dimapur and drive on to Kohima. Arrive and check in at hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure.

DAY 4: IN KOHIMA
In the morning after breakfast visit War Cemetery constructed in the memory of the officers who made supreme sacrifices during World War II. Then visit the Cathedral at Aradurah Hill which is an important landmark at Kohima. Later visit State Museum which showcases dioramas, some of the most fascinating aspects of Naga tribal life, ancestral weaponry, carved gatepost, status pillars as well as traditional Naga costumes and jewelry.

DAY 5: KOHIMA – DIMAPUR – KAZIRANGA DRIVE
After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga via Dimapur. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Kaziranga was declared a game reserve in 1926, to save the Indian One-horned rhino, which had become threatened with extinction at the turn of the century.

DAY 6: IN KAZIRANGA
Full day for Game Viewing (two) by jeeps and elephants.

DAY 7: KAZIRANGA – GUWAHATI DRIVE
Morning depart and drive to Guwahati. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Guwahati, the Gateway to the Northeast India is located on the bank of the Brahamaputra River. It is the largest commercial, industrial and educational center of the region.

DAY 8: GUWAHATI – IMPHAL FLY
After breakfast, transfer to airport for Imphal bound flight. Arrive and transfer to Hotel. Imphal is the Capital of Manipur and is surrounded by the northeastern hills and vast plains of India. Rest of the day free.

DAY 9: IN IMPHAL
Full day to explore war cemeteries commemorating the memories of British and Indian soldiers who died during the Second World War. Visit Shaheed Minar (tower) which commemorates the Meeti and Tribals who were killed during 1891 wars with Colonial forces. Then visit Manipur State Museum. It has a fairly good display of tribal heritage and a collection of portraits of Manipur’s former rulers. Other attraction is Ima Market (Khwairamband Bazaar), where about 3000 women sell their ware under one roof. The market has anything from textile to garments, vegetable and fruits, grocery to meat, metal and jewelry. Almost every item of day to day use is available here.

DAY 10: IMPHAL – KOLKATA FLY
DEPARTURE
In the morning transfer to airport for Kolkata bound flight. On arrival transfer to international airport for onward journey.
