DAY 1: ARRIVE KOLKATA
Arrival Kolkata airport. Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to hotel.

DAY 2: IN KOLKATA
After breakfast visit St. Paul’s Cathedral which was consecrated in 1847. It is a tall white Gothic building with a stained glass window by Burne Jones.After that visit Missionary Centre of Mother Teresa, Goddess Kali Temple (Dakshineshwar Kali Temple), built in 1847, on the banks of the Hooghly, north of Kolkata. After lunch visit Victoria Memorial which is a massive domed building of white marble from Rajasthan. It was inaugurated in 1921 by the Prince of Wales. Then visit Indian Museum, established on 2nd Feb 1814. The museum is particularly famous for its zoological and geological collections. Also visit Botanical Garden, the oldest in the country. The main attraction is the 250 year old banyan tree with nearly 2,000 aerial roots, making it the largest tree of its kind in the world.

DAY 3: KOLKATA- GUWAHATI FLY
GUWAHATI – SHILLONG DRIVE (120 KM)
Morning after breakfast transfer to airport for Guwahati bound flight. On arrival transfer toShillong. On arrival transfer to hotel. In the evening if time permits visit to Archery ground and Police Bazaar which is Shillong’s prime location where the wares on sale range from electronics to traditional handicraft.

DAY 4: SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE – SHILLONG – DRIVE

Nohkalikai Falls, Cherrapunjee

After breakfast we drive to Cherrapunjee, the wettest place on the earth. En route visit the famous Elephant Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls and Nohkalikai Falls. After lunch at Cherrapunjee, visit Thankarang Park, Koh Ramhah. Then drive back to Shillong.

DAY 5: SHILLONG – BHALUKPONG DRIVE (300KM)
After breakfast drive to Bhalukpong. On arrival transfer to hotel.

DAY 6: BHALUKPONG – DIRANG DRIVE (180 KM)
After breakfast drive to Dirang. En route visitTipi Orchid Center and Orchid Sanctuary (blooming is from end March till May).Reach Dirang and visit the Dirang Dzong and a Monpa village. On arrival transfer to hotel.

DAY 7: DIRANG – TAWANG DRIVE (160KM)
After breakfast drive toTawang. En route visit Sella Pass and Sella Lake situated at an altitude of 13476 ft. Also visit Jaswant Ghar and before reaching Tawang visit the Nunarang fall. On arrival transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure.

DAY 8: IN TAWANG
In the morning visit Tawang Monestry. The famous GadenNamgyalLhatse, popularly known as Tawang Monastery was founded by Merak Lama LodreGyatso in the year 1680-81. The monastery stands on the spur of a hill, about 10,000 feet above sea level. It offers a commanding and picturesque view of the Tawang-chu valley. Tawang monastery is the largest of its kind in the country and is one of the largest monasteries in Asia. Also visit Urgelling Monastery – the birth place of Sixth Dalia Lama,Ani Gompa and PTSo Lake. After lunch visit Tawang War Memorial and evening at leisure.

DAY 9: TAWANG – BOMDILA DRIVE (210KM)

Sela Pass, Tawang

After breakfast drive to Bomdila. On arrival transfer to hotel.

DAY 10: BOMDILA-KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK DRIVE (240 KM)
After breakfast drive to Kaziranga National Park, a paradise for Greater Indian one horned Rhinoceros as well as a home to Elephants, tigers, water buffaloes and many species of birds. On arrival, check into hotel.

DAY 11: IN KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK
Today, we plan two game drives, one in the morning and second in the late afternoon.

DAY 13: KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK – GUWAHATI DRIVE (250KM)
Early morning visit Kaziranga National Park. After breakfast drive to Guwahati. On arrival transfer to hotel. Later visit Kamakhya temple – it is situated at the top of the Nilachal Hill at about 800 feet above the sea level. The entire temple complex not only comprises of many other temples but also a whole set of people connected with them. Evening at leisure for personal activities.

DAY 14: GUWAHATI-KOLKATA – FLY
DEPARTURE
After breakfast transfer to airport for Kolkata bound flight. On arrival transfer to International airport for onward journey.
