Day 2: Arrive Mumbai
Arrive Mumbai International Airport, after meet and greet by local tour manager, transfer to hotel or some restaurant for breakfast. In afternoon city tour Visit to Elephanta Caves (closed on Mondays) The Elephanta Caves are located in Western India on Elephanta Island (otherwise known as the Island of Gharapuri), which features two hillocks separated by a narrow valley. The small island is dotted with numerous ancient archaeological remains that are the sole testimonies to its rich cultural past. These archaeological remains reveal evidence of occupation from as early as the 2nd century BC. The rock-cut Elephanta Caves were constructed about the mid-5th to 6th centuries AD. Day 4: In Aurangabad
After breakfast, visit the magnificent 14th-century Daulatabad Fort, a strategic hilltop fortress known for its ingenious defense systems and panoramic views. Continue your journey to the awe-inspiring Ellora Caves (closed on Tuesdays), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a true masterpiece of rock-cut architecture. Explore the complex’s 34 caves, comprising Buddhist monasteries, Jain shrines, and Hindu temples — all intricately carved into basalt cliffs between the 7th and 9th centuries, during the reigns of the Chalukya and Rashtrakuta dynasties. On your return to the hotel, stop to visit the iconic Bibi Ka Maqbara, often referred to as the “Taj of the Deccan,” built in memory of Aurangzeb’s wife and admired for its striking Mughal architecture.

Day 5: In Aurangabad
After breakfast, proceed to the Ajanta Caves — an extraordinary UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of India’s greatest archaeological treasures. Set in a scenic horseshoe-shaped gorge along the Waghora River, this complex of 30 rock-cut caves dates back to the 2nd century BCE. Admire the exquisite Buddhist murals, intricate sculptures, and meditative ambiance that make Ajanta a masterpiece of ancient Indian art and architecture. In the afternoon, drive back to Aurangabad.

Day 6: Aurangabad – Bangalore -fly Dep 09:00 Arrival 10:33 (Direct Flight On Tuesday, Thursday And Saturday)
After breakfast transfer to Aurangabad airport for Bangalore bound flight, Arrive at Bangalore Airport, where you will be welcomed by our local tour manager. After a warm meet and greet, transfer to your hotel. Depart for city tour of Bangalore city which includes the visit to the Cubbon Park-the city’s lungs – named after a 19th-century British representative, Lord Cubbon. The extensive park is a cool retreat during all hours of the day. The Vidhana Souda, a magnificent building that houses the state legislature and the secretariat. Lal Bagh the best botanical garden in the country, the garden is spread over 240 acres and has a thousand variations of plants.

Later, drive to Mysore, a city renowned for its royal heritage and cultural richness. En route, explore Srirangapatna, a historic island town steeped in political and religious legacy. Day 9: Mysore – Shravanabelagola – Belur – Halebid – Hassan (225 Kms / 5 Hours)
After breakfast, drive to Hassan. En route, visit the town of Shravanabelagola – an important center of Jainism. Visit the 19-meter- high statue of Gomateshwara from the 10th century. Then drive to Belur and visit the 12th-century Chennakesava Temple, famous for its rich decorations depicting plant and animal motifs, and erotic scenes. Stop in Halebid, where the main attraction is the unfinished Hoysaleshwara Temple, renowned for its beautiful wall carvings. Arrive in Hassan, check into the hotel, and spend the night.

Day 10: Hassan – Chitradurga – Hospet (304 Kms / 6 Hours)
After breakfast, depart for Hospet, embarking on a scenic drive through the heart of the Karnataka countryside. En route, stop to explore the magnificent Chitradurga Fort, a legendary stronghold with a rich history spanning from the 10th to the 18th centuries. Spread across 1,500 acres, this imposing fortress is renowned for its seven concentric walls, cleverly designed hidden passages, and architectural brilliance that once made it nearly impenetrable. As you wander through its massive gateways, ramparts, and ancient watchtowers, immerse yourself in the tales of valor and strategic ingenuity that echo through its stone corridors. Continue your journey to Hospet, arriving by evening. Drive continues to Hospet, the gateway to Hampi.

Day 11: Hospet -hampi - Hospet
After breakfast, set off for a full-day excursion to Hampi, the awe- inspiring ruins of the former capital of the Vijayanagara Empire, once known as the City of Victory. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hampi is considered one of the most significant archaeological treasures in India, with its dramatic landscape strewn with ancient temples, palaces, and pavilions. Begin your exploration with the Virupaksha Temple, still an active place of worship, and continue to the Ramachandra Temple, noted for its finely carved pillars and depictions of Ramayana scenes. Admire the architectural grace of the Lotus Mahal, a delicate blend of Indo-Islamic styles, and visit the regal Queen’s Bath, with its sunken pool, graceful arches, and lotus-shaped fountains. Pause at the Elephant Stables, an imposing row of domed chambers that once housed royal elephants, and marvel at the massive Lakshmi Narasimha statue, a monolithic sculpture of Vishnu in his fierce Narasimha avatar. Day 12: Hospet – Aihole – Pattadakal – Badami (160 Kms / 3.5 Hours)
After breakfast, drive to Badami, stopping en route to explore the Durga Temple complex in Aihole, often hailed as the "Cradle of Hindu Temple Architecture." Continue to Pattadakal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that showcases a harmonious blend of northern (Nagara) and southern (Dravidian) temple styles.Proceed to Badami, the ancient capital of the Chalukya dynasty. Explore the remarkable Badami Cave Temples, intricately carved into sandstone cliffs and dating back to the 6th–7th centuries.
